Music is universal language – same like pictures, but the best part of them is that you will hear or read out exactly what applies to you. No unrelated, useless information, only what you really need and want. Will travel you, will cheer you, will embrave you, will move you and yes..sometimes can sadden you – but that’s more than words will ever do.
And as my all time favorite, the mighty Rolling Stone’s sings: “Give me the beat boys and free my soul, i wanna get lost in your rock’n’roll and drift away!”
And yes..i was sinnin’ again and subscribed for the latest round of Bishbox (June) and from all those Rock Rebel stuffs the designers created i choose for these pictures: [I<3F]&Co – Corset, Minimal – Samsara Tank, Varonis – Leather Shorts, Yummy – Though Love Choker, Nani – Sid Hair. But come on.. you really thought i could skip a Rock Rebel theme?
I love listening when the heavy rain landing on the roof, while the thunder giving the background noise and the lightnings cutting the angry waves enlightening the dusky sky. It’s relaxing.. specially from a shelter.
I made this picture at Gale Storm Retreat, one amazing place in Second Life. Well worthy to visit if you want to make some photos or simply want to relax in the rain.
“Some people seem to fade away but then when they are truly gone, it’s like they didn’t fade away at all” – this Bob Dylan quote Cica Ghost choose for her latest art exhibition in Second Life. Called Fade Away is amazingly inspiring – like most of her artwork, because it’s not the first time i visited -, can bring you into a fun and deep trip.
For me so rock lyrics popped into my mind..as the Rolling Stones Time waits for noone…
But also Neil Young’s classics, Old Man.. (Old man look at your life..)
And having this place filled with ghosts, Bruce Springsteen’s The Ghost of Tom Joad when singing “Going someplace, there’s no going back”…
And the picture i set as featured image, now that’s Rolling Stones Dead Flowers.
I rarely do this, but this time can highly recommend to VISIT this place!
Since we had to say a farewell to Treasure Chest i was kinda lacking in inspiration picture vise. Missing some fresh impact i ventured to try the Bishbox subscription box. I wasn’t intrigued until now, but this months grunge theme triggered my attention. I only decided to buy it after i have seen some teaser, and i must say that i don’t regret it. Even if creatively didn’t helped me too much, but at least most of the stuffs was matching my taste – which lets face it, ain’t matching the majority.
I wont detail what i’m wearing, nor the other stuffs i really liked, i just wanted to post here the picture i made, and to tell you my thoughts while i was making them. When i grabbed the spray can in my hand my only regret was that i’m not standing near a wall like that in RL and of course i was respectfully envy to all those amazingly talented street artists who can color our world! I wish i would have an inch of their crafty…
It’s 15th of March (well, it was an hour ago) so it’s a new round of Treasure Chest in Second Life! The theme for this month was Royal Treatment, which I frankly thought will be a challenging one to inspire me. Yet, when i unpacked the boxes and I found this supper cute Prince Frog by Unrepentant, i was already grinning. As you can see i couldn’t stop rezzing only one, but i surrounded myself with a whole army of frogs, waiting to get a chance with the princess.
Having a huge passion for knifes i was even more happier when i tried on this worn sword crown (Vengeance Taken by The Half Moon Market), which i completed with the [Decoy] Kryst Hair from the Novembers Treasure Chest. Adoness made again some awesome eyes – which i surely can use a lot -, and the Bilquis dress by Faida was a perfect match for my image. The Roawenwood‘s Sovereign Born Royal Chaise was offering me the perfect animation for what i had in my mind, so i had a really fun time tonight.
Ok, i admit it. This picture has nothing to do with fairy tales. It’s rather a message to stay strong with your principles, even when becomes overwhelming.
For most Sunday is for chill-out, but for me is a working day. Not even a regular one, because usually is the busiest, hardest of the week. Today was no difference, so my freshness from the morning quickly vanished by night.
In such day’s i need some big water – sea or ocean or even a huge river – to sit near, or sail on to chill and recharge. Sadly i’m not living close to the seaside, but even my little hide-out island from Second Life is relaxing me.
It’s the most peaceful place on earth – wish if i’d have it for real – so I thought i’ll make a few pictures in a hope that will chill-out you too!
So here i am, as i presumed earlier i couldn’t stop taking only one picture from the latest Treasure Chest, and today, when i finally had that spare time for trying on this cool dress with a “knife-armed” west called Rogue by Unrepentant and found my favorite texture combination from the provided HUD i could already see a story in front of my eyes.
I played steampunkish this time – mixed with my post-apocalyptic prosthetic by DRD which is luckily works with my Maitreya body – so i quickly went on searching for a proper place that works with my idea. I quickly found a place called The Rostrum where a fun little truck waited for me to fire it’s engine and lean back, waiting to see who needs a ride home. Please, don’t freak out from my knifes, nor from the axe attached to my prosthetic – and as you can see, i have a lamp so we wont get lost!
Btw, this cool little attachable Brass Lantern (by The Half Moon Market) is also from this February Treasure Chest, while the Ace’s Steamer Hat (by The Forge ) is from a previous one.
Oh..i also wear from this chest the Sapphire Headdress by ERSCH, though i’m afraid that can’t be properly seen on this picture. Anyways, this was another fun round for me..and looking forward to find my next inspirational item or place in Second Life.
